Lunches

lunchChildren may have a packed lunch or school meal. School meals currently cost £2.50 per day.

In order to assist with the smooth running of the office please send dinner money for the half-term to the Secretary, in an envelope with your child’s class and full name clearly written on it. If sending cash, please try to send the correct amount. Cheques should be made payable to The London Borough of Bromley. Free school meals are available to children of parents receiving Income Support. Applications should be made to the Local Education Authority.

Those children who have a packed lunch should have their lunch box clearly marked with their name. Children in KS1 & KS2 are allowed fresh fruit or a healthy snack during morning break. KS1 children have fruit provided free under the ‘Fruit for Schools’ scheme. Cans, fizzy drinks and glass bottles are not allowed for health & safety reasons. Please provide a healthy lunch for your child if they have packed lunch. We ask that you co- operate by not encouraging sweets or chocolates at lunchtime.

Foods containing nuts are not allowed.
